Ministry Beliefs and Actions

Foundational Belief: We believe in the infallible Word of God

We believe in one God, the God who is our heavenly Father and creator of all things. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God sent from heaven out of God's love for us all and the salvation of humankind.

John 3:16-17: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. "(NKJV-New King James Version).

We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin by the holy conception, was willingly crucified, and, most importantly, resurrected from the dead by the Father for the eternal salvation of our souls. We believe Christ the Son gave us a precious gift, the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Triune God (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). We believe the Triune God acts as One in the redemption from sin and life guidance for those who believe.

Foundational beliefs in action.

As a ministry, we seek to worship the LORD our God in Spirit and truth, serve Him with gladness, and please God in all we do. We acknowledge the two ordinances Christ left for His church. In so doing, we conduct Water Baptism as an outward display of the decision to accept Christ as Savior. We baptize in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We engage in the celebration of Communion by partaking in the Lord's Supper. We do so as an act of thankfulness to Christ for sacrificing Himself upon the cross, bearing the world's sins, and giving us access to eternal life in heaven.

Our ministry beliefs lead to action as we diligently work to follow the final commandment of Jesus Christ found in the gospel of  John 13:34-35:  A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this, all will know that you are My disciples if you have love for one another." (New King James Version-NKJV).

As a ministry, we show forth our discipleship rooted in Christ's teachings through prayer and demonstrating the Holy Spirit's character in our daily lives. We strive to have and share love, joy, peace, patience, compassion, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

As a ministry, we practice loving God in front of people and loving people in front of God. As a ministry, we rely on the all-sufficiency of God and His grace to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those we encounter in the communities where we live, work, serve, and worship.
